“If you have a lemon, make a lemonade”. Since the return of P2HA, we have a whole crate of it that will last the month. Instead of bemoaning the loss of certain freedoms in a pandemic world, why not go with what we still possess?
Since we have more time on our hands now, this is a good opportunity to pick up a hobby that we’ve forever been putting off. It can be reading, or painting, or an activity that lifts our bums off those comfortable ‘Secretlab’ chairs. We really need to burn off any potential extra calories that we might be piling on during such times.
If you’re already an active person, why not take this month-long opportunity to challenge yourselves, set higher goals? Already running 5 km a day? Push for 10 km? No gym? Do a Arnold Schwarzenegger no-gym workout at home!
Point is: when we set goals to keep our bodies moving, not only will we feel better, our time is better utilized and at the end of the month, we’ll be fitter and better looking. The next time you meet with your buddies, you will bask in all the accolades heaped on you. Oh, you’re welcome. :)
