Running with F45 Studios: Sunday Shades at Thomson Nature Park
There’s nothing like a crisp Saturday morning, good vibes, and a solid crew to get moving with—and that’s exactly what went down on 8 March 2025 at the F45 Lower Peirce–Thomson–AMK Community Run.
From 6:30AM, Thomson Nature Park was already buzzing with energy. Whether you were breezing through the 3KM Recovery, going full throttle on the 6KM Fast, or finding your rhythm with the 6KM Leisure, this event had something for everyone. With flag-offs at 10-minute intervals starting from 7:30AM, the morning unfolded in waves of cheerful footfalls, high-fives, and lots of trail-side encouragement.
Sunday Shades was thrilled to be invited to set up a pop-up booth for this joint F45 studio event. But we didn’t just show up with sunnies—we came ready to share the experience. Leading up to the event, we invited runners to let us know which models they were keen to try, and we brought along brand-new pairs for them to test-drive during the run.
The deal was simple: if you liked the fit and wanted to keep them, we offered a special event discount. If not? No hard feelings—just hand them back, no questions asked. But spoiler alert: many loved them, especially the snug, bounce-free fit, even during uphill climbs and sweat-drenched sprints.

Our Sunday Shades booth quickly became a popular pit stop, a little corner of cool where people came to browse, try on frames, and chat about their favourite styles. From bold mirrored lenses to sleek matte finishes, everyone found something that suited their personality—and their workouts.

We also took the chance to create some content, catch up with familiar faces, and meet a bunch of new fans. Members got to try our latest range, and we got to see our shades in action—on the move, in the studio, and under that blazing morning sun.

From trails to treadmills, this F45 event reminded us why we do what we do: to champion movement, community, and sunnies that can keep up with both.
It’s hard to tell what was more contagious: the flex or the smile. 💪😁 This is what Sunday energy looks like—confidence, community, and that post-workout glow you just can’t fake.
